"THE VOICE OF HAMLET,NC" Welcome to the HUB OF THE CSX STREAM, it took me almost one year to get the equipment up and running. With a few moves here and there this is the finished product. I created this stream mainly for anyone who loves trains just as much as I do and to pay tribute to all the railroad workers acorss the world. For fans of constant R&R action this is the stream for you buddy! NO it's not the Folkston Funnel, but just give it a chance? I want everyone to know that Hamlet maybe another small town with nothing going on, but the rail traffic is large and in charge! Info: The stream covers all operations of the CSX in and around Hamlet, NC including all yards, yard movements, dispatchers, and all road channels. Hamlet Yard consists of Yard A for receiving and HUMP classification, car and diesel shops, Yard B for departures, and the Williams Yard for all layover unit trains & R&R equipment storage. Dispatchers in the area consist of CSX FA, FC, FD, and FE desks all located in Florence, SC. Speaking of Florence, SC you can also hear Florence yard operations in the late PM and early AM hours on the stream. The road channels in the area consist of AAR channels 32,66, and sometimes 86. There are also 6 Subdivisions that come into Hamlet, they consist of the: Aberdeen Sub., Andrews Sub., Hamlet Sub., Hamlet Terminal Sub. (in Hamlet), Monroe Sub., and the Wilmington Sub. PLEASE check out the Information Desk (ABOVE) for: News about the stream, coverage map, NOAA Weather Radio, my personal railroad videos, and a link to CSX.com. Time Tables & Maps Aberdeen Sub.
