It captures the essence of UP and BNSF railroading in the Oroville (lower Feather River Canyon)  area very nicely.

The Gateway Sub. stream's main focus is monitoring the BNSF Road channel (AAR channel 66/66; 161.100 Mhz) in the lower portion of the Highline. The stream radio is located near Crescent Mills. BNSF DS radios from Keddie to Halls Flat can be heard.

On the UP Keddie receiver DS radios that cover from  the middle portion of the Feather River Canyon, to well past Quincy can be heard, and trains from at least Virgilia to Spring Garden have been heard.

The highline stream is using a TrainTenna™ outdoor antenna which is sold by DPD Productions. Trains can be heard on the BNSF Gateway Sub between Keddie and Halls Flat, and on UP's Canyon Sub from MP 287 (east of Quincy) to MP 270 west of Virgilia.
