BNSF Stampede Pass News Flash! Tuesday, April 8, 2008 ... BNSF is currently running several loaded grain trains westbound over Stampede. Helpers are being added at Eason and cut off at Lester, re-attaching the FRED and returning to Easton for more helper fun. We believe this is a continuation of the testing of helpers over the Pass, but we know they have several helper assisted Loaded Grainers scheduled over the next several days. It's important to note that this is the first time regularly scheduled helpers have been used on Stampede Pass since 1978 possibly even earlier!!
