The radio stream is located in Lynn Ridge, SE Calgary slightly west of the Ogden controlled location on the Brooks Subdivision and the CP head office on Ogden Dale Road.

Calgary is the crossroads of the CPR system in western Canada. It is a busy place as it is the 'away from home terminal' for Medicine Hat and Lethbridge crews.

Calgary crews work north to Red Deer and west to Field, trains get robotized (DPUs added) for the mountain crossing and motive power is serviced.

All train movements within Calgary Terminal are made under the supervision of the Assistant Terminal or Terminal Trainmasters.

CP 4 – AAR 6767 – 161.115 - Train Standby and Trainmaster channel

CP 7 – AAR 9595 – 161.535 - RTC Authorities Ch. - Brooks / Laggan Subs

PLEASE NOTE:

If future demand warrants, the CN operations at Sarcee Yard and on the Three Hills Sub can be added.

The following Hot Box detectors can be heard:

Mile 163.1 Brooks Sub to the east
Mile 19.6 Laggan Sub to the west
Mile 105.0 Aldersyde Sub to the south
Mile 114 Red Deer Sub

Mountain Standard or Mountain Daylight Saving times are in effect on all subdivisions depending on the season. The Red Deer Sub north of B/E CTC sign Airdrie and the Aldersyde Sub south of Cautionary Limit Sign Mile 116.9 are under OCS rules. Clearances will be issued on the Authorities Channel.

All other main track in the Terminal is CTC or Interlocking.
