Orange, Virginia is located near milepost 85 on Norfolk Southern's Washington District, between Culpeper and Charottesville, and marks the beginning of Buckingham Branch's Orange Subdivision that extends to Gordaonsville.  Norfolk Southern hosts several general merchandise and intermodal trains, along with Amtrak's Crescent and Lynchburg Regional each day.  Amtrak's Cardinal enters the Buckgham Branch railroad from NS's Washington District at Orange thrice weekly.  (Click on the train's name for its schedule).
