This feed covers the NS Washington District in the Manassas / Bristow, VA area.  This Feed info page is still under contstruction and I am just putting basic info here for the time being so listeners have some information about the stream.  Updates will come to this page as time permits.

Manassas is a busy spot on NS where the former Southern mainline between Washington, DC and Atlanta and the now very busy B-line between Manassas, Va and Front Royal, VA meet.  Since the Conrail split, the B-Line has been upgraded from a sleepy branchline to a busy mainline linking the northeast and the southeast on the NS system as a bypass to the former route through Washington, DC over the Potomac River and the RF&P/CSX.  The B-Line is part of the NS Crescent Corridor project and it now plays host to many intermodal, manifest and local trains running between the H-Line (Hagerstown, MD to Roanoke, VA) and the ex-Southern Mainline south.  In addition to the busy freight traffic, 16 VRE Commuter trains and 6 Amtrak trains run through the area (reduced traffic on the weekends)
