This  broadcasts in STEREO, comprising of two radios, one for left channel, and one for right channel.

 

This feed is located on a ridge roughly 9 miles north of downtown Cincinnati. You will regularly hear trains as far north as Hamilton, Ohio and as far south as Erlanger, Kentucky. Dispatcher communications can be heard even farther away. Radio equipment includes an Icom 2100 for CSX and a Radio Shack Pro-2045 scanner for NS & the I&O. Antennas are roof mounted and tuned to 160-161 Mhz.  Frequencies monitored include:

CSX - Left Channel:

  • 160.230 - Road Channel

  • 161.100 - LC Dispatcher Channel

  • 160.320 - LB Dispatcher Channel

Norfolk Southern - Right Channel:

  • 160.950 - 1st District Road Channel

  • 160.440 - Newcastle District Road Channel

  • 160.980 - Dayton District Road Channel

Indiana & Ohio - Right Channel: 

  • 161.385 - Road Channel

  • 161.220 - Road Channel - ex-DT&I (Midland Subdivision)
