05/16/08 - Now Arriving:

Announcing our latest stream: Lancaster, Ca!

This stream is situated on the Eastern side of the Tehachapi Mountains

and is able to listen to the almost the entire Tehachapi Hill action on

BOTH sides due to the fact the stream receiver can hear a Dispatcher Link

Repeater that rebroadcasts the UP Road Channel.. This should prove to

be a very popular Tehachapi related stream, it is still being optimized for

antenna and receiver performance, but we wanted to bring it online for

your enjoyment sooner than later. Click here to go directly to this stream.

The Return of the NS West Slope / CSX Sandpatch Stream!

The long awaited return of this stream from a new location positioned in

the one of the best spots to hear as much action as possible. Thanks to

the Station Inn , out of Cresson, PA for agreeing to be our host for this stream,

and to those who put in a ot of hard work and expense into this project to bring

you some exciting helper-district action in a picturesque part of Pennsylvania.

Welcome Back, West Slope!

BNSF/UP Gray's Summit, Missouri

This privately hosted stream is located in Catawissa, Missouri, close to

Gray's Summit. While there is some RF coverage overlap with our other

Missouri Stream, this stream receives the local Grey's Summit area and

outskirts of St. Louis very well and should be a good complement

to our  Ozark Missouri stream.

You can go directly to the stream info page here .

Eastern California/Nevada UP - Doyle, California

Situated on what was once known as the Western Pacific 5th subdivision,

now it's the eastern half of UP's Canyon Sub. we bring you the newest stream on

Railroadradio.net c overing the route of the  ex Wobbly as it heads out over the desert

enroute to Salt Lake, and we're also monitoring the Ex SP line in the Sparks

(Reno Nevada) area.  Itis quiet at times, but this is a great tool to hear what's coming

westward into the top end of the Feather River Canyon. Give it a listen here.

The Washington Puget Sound Area Shortline Stream

Introducinga rather unique stream, concentrating on 4 freight-only and

1 Steam-powered excursion railroads all located in the Tacoma/Puget Sound Area

American Railroads - the shortline. Seattle Terminal Stream Host Jason Hill

brings this new stream to us for our enjoyment. Check it out here !

BNSF Stampede Pass News Flash!

Tuesday, April 8, 2008 ...

BNSF is currently running several loaded grain trains westbound over Stampede.

Helpers are being added at Eason and cut off at Lester, re-attaching the

FRED and returning to Easton for more helper fun.

We believe this is a continuation of the testing of helpers over the Pass,

but we know they have several helper assisted Loaded Grainers scheduled

over the next several days. It's important to note that this is the first time

regularly scheduled helpers have been used on Stampede Pass since 1978

possibly even earlier!! Give the stream a listen here.
