BNSF St. Joseph Sub is a single track CTC line from Murray Yard, North Kansas City to Omaha, Ne and Lincoln, NE. Trains are mainly BNSF, but UP serves customers in the St. Joseph area and KCS has run through grain trains.The line sees about 35 trains a day with 43% coal and empties, 18% grain and empties, 28% manifest, and 7% unit oil and ethanol trains.
